Über das Unternehmen

Visit.org: Visit.org is a women-led Certified B Corporation that designs and delivers full-scale volunteering programs for global companies, with volunteering experiences built with vetted nonprofit partners and rooted in real community needs in 100+ countries and 40+ languages. Trusted by teams at companies like Amazon, Colgate, Paramount, and Cisco, Visit.org acts as an extension of lean CSR teams to run global volunteering that employees love and nonprofits trust. Responsibilities: Own the warehouse end to end: receiving, inbound QC, staging, kitting and assembly, pick and pack, outbound QC, palletization, and outbound shipping, plus returns processing for reusable assets coming back into stock (inspect, replenish, re-label, and return to inventory). Lead the site through ramp up: complete and sign off core SOPs, train the team on each one, and bring the operation to steady state. Build and scale the operating process: document SOPs, train, deploy, audit adherence, and improve them as volume and product mix grow. Own site safety and housekeeping, including safe equipment use, clear aisles and docks, and incident reporting. Run the daily operating rhythm: prioritize the day's work by ship date and deadline risk, set the pick list each morning, make the go/no-go call before label cutoff, hit the carrier pickup window, and move carryover to the top of the next day's list. Flag at-risk shipments early to operations leadership and account teams, before a ship date is missed. Work the floor. Step into receiving, kitting, pick/pack, or outbound as volume or staffing requires it. Own packing standards, including box selection, cushioning and void-fill, labeling, and handling stickers where contents require them. Pack so shipments arrive intact, including boxes that may be reused for onward shipping. Audit packing quality and root-cause any damage or client complaint to fix. Maintain inventory accuracy across components, raw materials, and finished kits through cycle counts, audits, and system reconciliation. Keep shipment data up to date in our systems (ship dates, tracking, status) so the rest of the business can trust it. Manage packaging and consumables stock with reorder points so the floor never stops for supplies. Manage warehouse layout, slotting, pallet storage, and peak-capacity planning across a high-variety kit catalog. Hire/schedule, onboard, supervise, and coach a team of associates, starting small and scaling with volume. Set daily direction and give ongoing performance feedback. This can be a mix of full-time staff, part-time, or 3rd -party staff. Track and improve site KPIs: on-time ship rate, damage/defect rate, inventory accuracy, receiving discrepancy rate, kit cycle time, dock-to-stock time, and labor cost per kit. Manage labor and site expenses to budget, and support cost tracking and reporting.
