The largest hospital group in Luxembourg, Groupe Hôpitaux Robert Schuman (HRS), which includes about 360 independent doctors and 2,450 employees, is looking for a committed and experienced Designated Employee to strengthen its team. Your tasks: Based on the Grand-Ducal regulation of June 9, 2006, Book III of the Labor Code, and Article L. 312-3 of the Labor Code, the Designated Employee assists the employer in implementing measures to protect and prevent occupational risks in the workplace. In accordance with Article 4 of the Grand-Ducal regulation of June 9, 2006, you will specifically be responsible for the following tasks: **Safety and Health at Work** - Organizing and monitoring compliance with general legal and regulatory provisions in force in the field of safety and health. - Assessing the hospital's overall safety and health situation at work. - Inspecting work methods, resources used, and risk analysis; carrying out risk assessments and implementing measures to prevent accidents. - Conducting accident analysis, defining and monitoring key performance indicators, action plans, and associated communication. **Strategy, Planning, and Prevention** - Participating in the development of a safety and health strategy for the hospital in collaboration with relevant departments. - Creating, updating, and communicating safety and health plans. - Delivering internal training on workplace safety and health protection topics. **Inspections and Documentation** - Performing regular safety inspections. - Managing and updating safety records. - Monitoring and implementing performance indicators to guide activities. **Collaboration and External Interfaces** - Maintaining relations with labor inspection and mines (ITM), supervisory authorities, occupational health services, and other authorities responsible for safety and health protection. - Collaborating with emergency services (CGDIS, police), the aviation supervisory authority (DAC), and other relevant organizations. - Representing HRS in national working groups (FHL). **Special Tasks and Substitutions** - Managing and organizing the heliport, ensuring smooth and legally compliant operations by the rescue service. - Replacing, if necessary, the laser safety officer, hazardous substances officer, and fire protection officer. **Consultation and Project Support** - Acting as a contact point for the technical service and construction department for all safety matters related to building and renovation projects. Your profile: - Engineering degree (Bac +5/6) (safety / civil engineering / industrial engineering) or a master's degree in risk management and workplace health. - Proven professional experience of at least two years in this field. - Successfully completed advanced training as a Designated Employee (D2). - Experience in the healthcare or hospital sector is a plus. - Strong IT skills (MS Office, documentation tools, CAD). - Good communication skills and a strong sense of responsibility. - Availability to train colleagues and continuously develop technical knowledge through ongoing and additional training. - In-depth knowledge of Luxembourgish regulations on workplace safety (ITM, Labor Code, Grand-Ducal regulations). - Initiative and team-oriented work ethic. - Required languages: French, German, and Luxembourgish (minimum B2 level).
