The ideal candidate will be a driving force in establishing and maintaining our automated continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines, managing our <strong>hybrid infrastructure (On-Premises and Cloud)</strong>, and promoting a strong <strong>DevOps culture</strong> across the organization. This role requires deep technical expertise, excellent problem-solving skills, and a passion for automation and scalability in both legacy and cloud environments.<br><br></p> <h3><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></h3> <ul> <li><strong>Hybrid Infrastructure Management:</strong> Design, deploy, and maintain robust infrastructure across both <strong>public cloud platforms</strong> (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and <strong>on-premises data centers</strong>.</li> <li><strong>Design and Implement CI/CD:</strong> Develop, maintain, and optimize robust automated <strong>CI/CD pipelines</strong> (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI) to ensure fast, reliable, and secure software releases for applications deployed across both environments.</li> <li><strong>Infrastructure as Code (IaC):</strong> Design and manage infrastructure using <strong>IaC</strong> tools like <strong>Terraform</strong> and integrate them with tools for managing <strong>on-premises hardware/VMs</strong>.</li> <li><strong>Containerization and Orchestration:</strong> Manage and maintain containerized applications using <strong>Docker</strong> and orchestrate them with <strong>Kubernetes</strong> (or similar tools like OpenShift) in both cloud and <strong>on-premises clusters</strong>.</li> <li><strong>Automation:</strong> Automate repetitive tasks and provision resources using scripting languages (e.g., <strong>Python</strong>, Bash) and configuration management tools (<strong>Ansible</strong>, Chef, Puppet) for both physical and virtual machines.</li> <li><strong>Monitoring and Logging:</strong> Implement and manage comprehensive monitoring, logging, and alerting systems (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, Splunk) to ensure high availability across the entire infrastructure footprint.</li> <li><strong>Virtualization:</strong> Manage and maintain <strong>virtualization technologies</strong> (e.g., <strong>VMware vSphere</strong>, Hyper-V) used in the on-premises environment.</li> <li><strong>Security:</strong> Integrate security best practices (<strong>DevSecOps</strong>) into the CI/CD process and ensure security compliance for both cloud and <strong>on-premises systems</strong>.</li> <li><strong>Troubleshooting:</strong> Act as an escalation point for production issues, rapidly diagnosing and resolving complex infrastructure and application problems in the hybrid environment.<br><br></li> </ul> <h3><strong>Required Qualifications</strong></h3> <ul> <li><strong>Experience:</strong> 8+ years of experience in a DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), or similar role, with experience managing&nbsp;<strong>large-scale production environments</strong>.</li> <li><strong>Hybrid Infrastructure:</strong> Demonstrated experience in managing and integrating <strong>on-premises infrastructure</strong> with public cloud services.</li> <li><strong>Cloud Proficiency:</strong> Strong experience with at least one major cloud provider (<strong>AWS</strong>, Azure, or GCP).</li> <li><strong>On-Prem Expertise:</strong> Expert-level knowledge of <strong>virtualization technologies</strong> like <strong>VMware vSphere</strong> or Hyper-V.</li> <li><strong>IaC Expertise:</strong> Strong practical experience with <strong>Terraform</strong> or a similar IaC tool.</li> <li><strong>Container Technology:</strong> Deep understanding and hands-on experience with <strong>Docker</strong> and <strong>Kubernetes</strong>.</li> <li><strong>Configuration Management:</strong> Proficiency with a tool like <strong>Ansible</strong>, Chef, or Puppet.</li> <li><strong>Scripting:</strong> Proficiency in at least one scripting language (<strong>Python</strong> or Bash).</li> <li><strong>Operating Systems:</strong> Expert-level understanding of <strong>Linux</strong> and/or Windows Server operating systems.</li> <li><strong>Networking:</strong> Strong knowledge of enterprise networking concepts (VLANs, Firewalls, Load Balancing, VPNs) in a data center context.<br><br></li> </ul> <h3><strong>Preferred Qualifications</strong></h3> <ul> <li>Experience with <strong>Serverless</strong> technologies (e.g., AWS Lambda, Azure Functions).</li> <li>Familiarity with database administration (SQL and NoSQL).</li> <li>Prior experience in a high-availability, 24/7 production environment.</li> <li><strong>DevSecOps Tooling:</strong> Hands-on experience integrating and managing <strong>static analysis security testing (SAST)</strong> tools, specifically <strong>Synopsys Coverity</strong>, within the CI/CD pipeline.</li> <li><strong>Open Source Security:</strong> Experience implementing and utilizing <strong>Software Composition Analysis (SCA)</strong> tools, specifically <strong>Synopsys BlackDuck</strong>, for managing open-source licenses, vulnerabilities, and security risks.</li> <li>Experience with <strong>Storage Area Networks (SANs)</strong> and network-attached storage (NAS) solutions.</li> <li>Experience implementing and managing <strong>hybrid cloud networking</strong> solutions (e.g., AWS Direct Connect, Azure ExpressRoute).</li> <li>Familiarity with hardware lifecycle
