This role will report to the VP of Strategy &amp; Operations. This talented and motivated self-starter will be responsible for executing a diverse array of strategic initiatives across the business, with a focus on areas of high priority for Garner’s leadership team. You’ll be responsible for deploying management best practices and have the chance to learn what it takes to operate in a high-performance and high-impact environment.&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>Where you will work:</strong></p> <ul> <li>This role will be based in our New York City office. You must be willing to work in the office 3 days per week on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.&nbsp;</li> </ul> <p><strong>What you will do:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Execute strategic projects across the business; dive deep into areas of high priority for Garner’s leadership team</li> <li>Take on a portfolio of operational processes - that you will develop and deploy - in close collaboration with subject matter experts across Garner</li> <li>Rotate through a variety of high impact initiatives providing you with broad exposure across the company&nbsp;</li> <li>Support Garner’s strategic operating rhythm, including managing company KPIs and driving our annual/quarterly planning processes</li> <li>Work directly with Garner’s leadership on high-visibility initiatives for the business</li> </ul> <p><strong>The ideal candidate has:</strong></p> <ul> <li>5+ years of experience in a strategic problem-solving role; prior experience in management consulting, investment banking, or an early-stage startup environment</li> <li>A strong ability to break down unstructured problems into their component parts, recommend solutions, and work with cross-functional stakeholders to implement them</li> <li>A combination of a high ownership mentality and detail orientation that has resulted in a track record of delivering operational initiatives</li> <li>Strong analytical skills and the ability to synthesize insights from complex data&nbsp;</li> <li>A willingness to “roll up your sleeves” and do whatever is necessary to ensure company success</li> <li>Interest and/or experience working in healthcare, with a mission to improve the U.S. healthcare system</li> <li>A desire to be a part of a high-performing, mission-driven team that operates with intense urgency, a strong sense of individual accountability, and a commitment to authentic feedback.</li> </ul> <p>This is a unique opportunity to join a fast-growing company in a transformative role, helping shape the future of healthcare.</p> <p><strong>What you’ll get here<br><br></strong>You’ll work on problems that matter, at a company working to change healthcare at scale. Individual compensation for this role will depend on various factors, including qualifications, skills, and applicable laws.
