Role Overview
We’re looking for a driven, revenue-minded Partnerships Manager to grow RealSelf’s brand partnerships business in NYC. Your main focus is bringing new beauty and wellness brands to RealSelf: prospecting, pitching and closing partnerships across our digital, newsletter, social and experiential channels. Key Responsibilities
New Business: own an annual revenue target weighted toward net new business, sourcing and closing new brand and agency partners in the beauty and wellness space.
Build and work a pipeline of prospects through outbound outreach, industry relationships, events and agency networks.
Lead the sales cycle end to end, from first outreach and discovery through tailored proposals, RFP responses, pricing, negotiation and close.
Bring market feedback from prospects to the Sales, Digital and Product teams to help shape new partnership offerings, packaging and pricing.
Represent RealSelf at industry events and build relationships with brand and agency decision-makers.
Renewals and Growth: own renewals for your book of business, starting renewal conversations early and turning one-off campaigns into repeat and annual programs.
Use campaign results to find upsell and expansion opportunities with existing partners.
Account Management: oversee the activation of the programs you sell, including newsletters, social campaigns, digital media and events, so that partners get a high-touch experience delivered on time.
Set success metrics for each program and deliver post-campaign performance recaps.
Keep the pipeline, forecast and CRM up to date, and report on revenue, pacing and account health to the VP of Brand Partnerships.
Help create and refresh sales materials such as sell sheets, case studies and pitch decks.
Requirements
4-5 years of experience in brand partnerships, integrated media sales or advertising sales, ideally in beauty, health or lifestyle.
A proven track record of generating and closing new business and meeting or exceeding revenue quotas.
Comfortable with outbound prospecting and building a pipeline from scratch.
Existing relationships with beauty and wellness brands and/or their agencies are a strong plus.
Experience selling integrated, multi-channel programs (content, newsletter, social, events).
Strong communication, presentation and negotiation skills.
Organized and data-minded, with experience in pipeline management, forecasting and CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce).
NYC-based (Hybrid), able to work from our downtown NYC office two days a week.
