About the company UpGuard replaces manual security bottlenecks with AI-driven precision. After a Series C financing round of 75 million USD, the company is scaling its infrastructure to process 100 billion risk signals per day. UpGuard builds a Cyber Risk Posture Management (CRPM) platform that integrates security assessments, threat intelligence and agentic AI. The product team includes Product Management, Product Support, Engineering, Design, Data-Leak-Detection and Third-Party Risk Management services. The goal is to become the market leader in Cyber VRM and provide a best-in-class SaaS platform for managing third-party risk and the external attack surface. Responsibilities Collaborate in cross-functional teams with engineers, product managers and designers to develop best-in-class products. Independently develop new customer-focused features from conception to delivery. Improve system reliability, scalability and performance. Participate in code reviews, technical discussions and architecture decisions. Deepen expertise in cybersecurity and work with large-scale, data-intensive systems. Requirements At least 4 years of relevant professional experience in technology- and product-focused companies. Experience with JavaScript, React and web technologies as well as a backend language (UpGuard uses Go) and relational databases (e.g., Postgres). Interest in new technologies, especially AI/LLMs, to improve developer productivity and customer experience. Ability to make pragmatic trade-offs between technical quality and business requirements. Nice to have: Experience in cybersecurity, with Kubernetes and Google Cloud Platform. Nice to have: Experience building complex applications in cross-functional teams and a strong sense for user experience.
