Quality Assurance Rater – German (DE)

Strengthen our team of senior raters and make an important contribution to creating high-quality validation data that significantly influences the development and quality assurance of leading search engines and AI technologies. This flexible remote activity allows you to use your analytical skills and research competencies to evaluate search results and AI-generated content while contributing to the development of high-quality AI systems. Your daily work as a Quality Assurance Rater: In this position, you will analyze and evaluate search results as well as AI-generated responses. Through your assessments and feedback, you will help continuously improve the performance of AI models and the quality of search results. With your work, you ensure high-quality standards and guarantee the accuracy our clients rely on. You will handle various evaluation tasks, carefully analyze content, conduct research for informed decision-making, and identify ambiguities in guidelines as well as potential inconsistencies in task instructions. Additionally, you will participate in training and calibration sessions and provide feedback to continuously refine and improve evaluation processes and guidelines. Your responsibilities: - Evaluate search results and AI-generated content based on quality, relevance, accuracy, and usefulness. - Conduct online research to verify information and make informed decisions for evaluations. - Consistently apply evaluation guidelines while maintaining high-quality standards. - Document special cases, gaps in guidelines, and task-specific issues. - Provide clear written justifications and feedback for evaluations when required. - Participate in training, calibration sessions, and regular quality reviews. - Meet productivity requirements while maintaining consistently high work quality. Compensation: The compensation for this position is EUR 20.60 per hour. Payment is made based on successfully completed tasks. Basic requirements: - Freelance work with excellent communication skills in German and English. - Residency in Germany for the past 5 consecutive years. - Familiarity with current and historical topics in business, media, sports, news, social media, and culture. - Strong analytical thinking, high attention to detail, and strong research skills. - Experience with web browsers, search engines, and online research tools. - Daily access to a reliable broadband internet connection, a smartphone, and a personal computer. - Proven research competencies through professional experience or strong independent research and information verification experience. - Ability to work independently and consistently follow detailed guidelines. - High level of creativity, logical thinking, and the ability to consistently meet target objectives. Preferred qualifications: - Experience in quality assurance, content moderation, data annotation, research, journalism, editing, or information verification. - Familiarity with AI technologies, search engines, and digital content ecosystems. - Subject-matter expertise in areas such as pop culture, social sciences, STEM subjects, medicine, law, finance, or engineering. - Additional language skills may be advantageous depending on project requirements.
