<p>&nbsp;</p> <p class="isSelectedEnd"></p> <p class="isSelectedEnd"><strong>Sustainable Talent</strong> is partnering with <strong>NVIDIA,</strong> a global leader that has been transforming computer graphics, PC gaming, and accelerated computing for over 25 years, to hire a QA Engineer for an immediate need on their gaming team.</p> <p class="isSelectedEnd">This is a<strong> 6-month W-2 contract</strong> role, fully<strong> onsite</strong> in <strong>Redmond, WA </strong>(no remote work and no relocation assistance provided). We offer <strong>competitive pay, full benefits, PTO, </strong>and an outstanding company culture.</p> <h2><span style="text-decoration: underline;">What You'll Be Doing</span></h2> <ul data-spread="false"> <li>Execute system-level testing and validation across Windows-based PC and gaming platforms.</li> <li>Perform system-level testing on Windows hardware and software environments.</li> <li>Validate Windows platform functionality, device drivers (including graphics/display drivers), firmware, and overall system behavior across pre-production PC devices.</li> <li>Identify, reproduce, troubleshoot, and document defects with clear and detailed bug reports.</li> <li>Analyze logs, system behavior, and test results to support root-cause investigations.</li> <li>Create and distribute test reports to stakeholders and cross-functional teams.</li> <li>Review test plans and contribute to test automation efforts where applicable.</li> <li>Collaborate closely with engineering teams to improve product quality, stability, and user experience.</li> </ul> <h2><span style="text-decoration: underline;">What We Need to See</span></h2> <ul data-spread="false"> <li>Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.</li> <li>5+ years of experience in QA, validation, testing, or a related engineering role.</li> <li>Strong experience testing and debugging Windows client operating systems and PC platforms.</li> <li>Hands-on experience troubleshooting software and hardware issues at the system level.</li> <li>Experience testing device drivers (especially graphics/display drivers), firmware, and Windows platform functionality.</li> <li>Experience working on pre-production Windows desktop or client platforms, collaborating with engineering teams to identify, reproduce, and isolate system-level issues.</li> <li>Proficiency with scripting or automation using Python.</li> <li>Experience using Windows debugging tools (such as WinDbg), log analysis, and root-cause investigation techniques.</li> <li>Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to independently investigate complex technical issues.</li> <li>Self-motivated and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities.</li> <li>Passion for product quality and finding hard-to-reproduce issues.</li> </ul> <h2><span style="text-decoration: underline;">Preferred Qualifications</span></h2> <ul data-spread="false"> <li>Experience validating Microsoft Surface devices or other Windows OEM hardware platforms.</li> <li>Experience with Windows device driver validation, graphics/display drivers, or Windows platform testing.</li> <li>Familiarity with Microsoft Test Technologies (MTT), WHQL, HLK, or similar Windows validation frameworks.</li> <li>Knowledge of GPU technologies, graphics systems, or PC gaming platforms.</li> <li>Experience supporting automation frameworks and Python-based test infrastructure.</li> </ul> <h2><span style="text-decoration: underline;">Engagement Overview</span></h2> <p class="isSelectedEnd"><strong>Location:</strong> Redmond, WA (Onsite 5 days per week)</p> <p class="isSelectedEnd"><strong>Duration:</strong> 6-month W-2 contract through Sustainable Talent</p> <p class="isSelectedEnd"><strong>Pay Rate:</strong> $55–$75/hour, depending on experience, education, skills, and location</p> <p class="isSelectedEnd"><strong>Benefits:</strong> Medical, dental, vision, PTO, and additional benefits available</p> <p><strong>Start Date:</strong> Immediate</p> <p class="isSelectedEnd"></p> <p class="isSelectedEnd">&nbsp;</p> <p><em>Sustainable Talent is an M/F+, disabled, and veteran equal employment opportunity and affirmative action employer.</em></p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p class="isSelectedEnd"></p>
