Role Summary

The SDS Specialist is responsible for supporting the Self-Driving System (SDS) used in autonomous vehicles, focusing on hardware, software, diagnostics, and calibration activities.
The role works closely with technical and engineering teams to ensure system functionality, reliability, and proper integration within the vehicle platform. This position requires strong technical precision, structured troubleshooting skills, and adherence to defined procedures.

Key Responsibilities

  • Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and replace SDS hardware components on autonomous vehicles
  • Perform software updates, system configurations, and validation checks for SDS functionality
  • Execute structured diagnostic procedures to identify and resolve system issues
  • Support escalation cases by providing detailed technical findings to engineering teams
  • Conduct system calibration and verification activities to ensure operational accuracy
  • Serve as the on-site subject matter expert for SDS-related technical issues
  • Follow strict operational and safety procedures when working with vehicle systems
  • Maintain accurate records of diagnostics, repairs, and system updates
  • Collaborate with technicians and engineers to ensure smooth integration of SDS components
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of SDS workflows and troubleshooting processes
  • Requirements

    • Minimum 3+ years of experience in automotive electronics, diagnostics, or complex technical systems
    • Experience working with advanced vehicle electronics or embedded systems is strongly preferred
    • Familiarity with ADAS, autonomous vehicle systems, robotics, or similar technologies is an advantage
    • Comfortable working with command-line tools and structured software procedures
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail
    • Ability to follow strict processes and ensure procedural compliance
    • Good communication skills and ability to work in cross-functional technical teams
    • Fluent English required
