As a&nbsp;<strong>Senior MEMS Characterization and Metrology Engineer</strong>, you will use your technical and creative problem-solving skills to&nbsp;develop and deploy&nbsp;custom MEMS test systems for engineering characterization and manufacturing test of SiTime MEMS resonators.&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>&nbsp;</strong><strong>Responsibilities</strong></p> <ul> <li>Exploration and prototyping novel test methodologies for high-precision timing parameter measurements.</li> <li>Hands-on hardware development and system validation of custom MEMS test systems for engineering and mass production.</li> <li>Development of software for test execution and automation, data acquisition, system calibration, and data analysis required for high-precision timing devices.&nbsp;</li> <li>Documentation of MEMS test system architecture, design, software, etc.&nbsp;</li> <li>Collaboration with cross-functional teams for system qualification and release-to-production.&nbsp;</li> <li>Optimization of system performance focusing on throughput, precision, and reliability.&nbsp;&nbsp;</li> <li>Drive and/or support projects and other company-driven objectives, as needed</li> </ul> <p><strong>Qualifications &amp; Requirements (Education must be included): &nbsp;&nbsp;</strong></p> <ul> <li>MS in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Physics. PhD is preferred. Exceptional candidates with other technical backgrounds will be considered.</li> <li>Proven track record of driving technical projects and executing on aggressive schedules in cross-functional teams.</li> <li>Hands-on experience with analog electronics, board-level design and debug, electrical characterization of RF devices, and deep knowledge of associated test equipment.&nbsp;</li> <li>Demonstrated programming experience in C#, familiarity with LabView and MATLAB is a plus.</li> <li>Strong ability to design, conduct, and analyze experiment results</li> <li>Previous experience with MEMS design, test and/or characterization is preferred.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Desired Characteristics &amp; Attributes:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills; strong&nbsp;written and verbal communication.&nbsp;</li> <li>High level of self-motivation and drive for making an impact.</li> <li>Passion for hands-on technical leadership with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.</li> <li>Ability and willingness to work in a highly collaborative, fast-paced team environment.&nbsp;</li> <li>A positive attitude and curiosity to learn new skills.&nbsp;</li> </ul> <p><strong>Compensation Range:<span style="color: rgb(224, 62, 45);">&nbsp;</span></strong></p> <p>At SiTime, we believe great work deserves great rewards.
