Staff Accountant

<p>Enumerate is looking for a <strong>Staff Accountant</strong> to join our team!<br><br>As part of our goal to create and support the best community association management software, Enumerate offers accounting solutions for clients. As a Staff Accountant, you will be responsible for performing bank reconciliations and preparing financial statements for Enumerate’s Financial Services clients. This is a hands-on role that requires experience working in the HOA/COA industry. The ideal candidate has a strong attention to detail,, a passion for continuous improvement, and a proven ability to leverage technology to improve efficiency, quality, and business outcomes.</p> <p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p> <ul> <li>Perform bank reconciliations for associations involving multiple bank accounts</li> <li>Prepare and issue financial statements for associations ensuring accuracy and timely completion of task</li> <li>Prepare necessary supporting schedules including accrued expense and prepaid expense</li> <li>Complete quality assurance checklist before issuance of financials</li> <li>Update cover memo to financials with essential items of note for current month financials being issued</li> <li>Substantiate financial transactions by auditing documents</li> <li>Maintain accounting controls through careful attention to policies and procedures</li> <li>Research and respond to inquiries related to financials statements prepared</li> <li>Reconcile financial discrepancies by collecting and analyzing account information</li> <li>Direct participate internal and external audits to ensure compliance</li> <li>Support month-end and year-end close process</li> </ul> <p><strong>Qualifications</strong></p> <ul> <li>Bachelor’s degree in accounting/appropriate field of study or comparable work experience&nbsp;</li> <li>3+ years of experience as a Staff Accountant</li> <li>Property management accounting experience is a bonus!</li> <li>Experience with creating financial statements, general ledger functions and the month-end/year end close process&nbsp;</li> <li>Experience with accounting software</li> <li>Speed and accuracy are essential for this role which requires multiple financials prepared and issued daily</li> </ul><div class="content-pay-transparency"><div class="pay-input"><div class="description"><p>The pay range is inclusive of base salary plus any applicable bonuses or commissions.</p></div><div class="title">Total compensation pay range (annual salary):</div><div class="pay-range"><span>$70,000</span><span class="divider">&mdash;</span><span>$90,000 USD</span></div></div></div>
