Job Description:

 

Responsibilities :

• Own and drive the overall automation strategy and framework implementation
• Design, develop, and maintain a scalable Playwright automation framework using TypeScript
• Establish best practices for test structure, reusability, reporting, and long-term maintainability
• Develop end-to-end automated tests for complex workflows, including multi-user and file handling scenarios
• Author and maintain Cucumber/Gherkin-based tests, applying BDD principles where applicable
• Replace manual regression test cases with stable, reliable, and maintainable automated tests
• Integrate and manage automated test execution within CI/CD pipelines using GitHub and Azure DevOps
• Collaborate closely with Product Managers and engineering teams, acting as an automation thought leader on quality, coverage, and testability

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required; preference for Computer Science or a related field
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience; exposure to a professional services environment preferred
• Senior-level experience in test automation for web-based applications
• Strong hands-on expertise with Playwright for UI automation
• Advanced proficiency in TypeScript, including strong typing, abstractions, and reusable utilities
• Experience authoring and maintaining Cucumber/Gherkin test scenarios using BDD principles
• Solid understanding of end-to-end testing strategies for complex, multi-system workflows
• Experience working with Git and modern version control workflows
• Familiarity with CI/CD concepts and test integration using Azure DevOps and/or GitHub Actions
• Ability to operate independently as a technical authority while collaborating effectively with distributed teams
