The role involves proofreading a variety of advertising and marketing materials to ensure they are grammatically correct, brand-compliant, and meet client requirements. The ideal candidate is organized, reliable, and committed to the highest linguistic quality. Responsibilities Proofreading a variety of materials, including: Advertisements Brochures Sales materials Banner ads Emails Websites Blog and social media content Proposals (RFPs) Press releases Articles and other marketing communications Checking grammar, spelling, punctuation, consistency, and accuracy Digital editing of Word documents and layouts in the internal proofing system Supporting production, including filing and general administrative tasks Requirements At least an associate degree (preferably in English, communication, journalism, or a related field) 0-7 years of proofreading and editing experience, preferably in an agency environment Strong attention to detail and excellent written communication skills Familiarity with Mac and PC platforms Experience in digital proofreading and working in collaborative review systems Benefits Flexible part-time model with up to 18 hours per week Pay between 28 and 40 USD per hour (depending on experience and qualifications)
