We develop photorealistic digital humans with our proprietary models ATMAN (visual identity) and VAANI (voice), which drive an enterprise platform where these humans can speak in all languages. We are currently building a dedicated internal linguistics department to ensure that our content is not only accurately translated but also linguistically and tonally excellent in every language we work in. Responsibilities Linguistic quality assurance (review, quality control, correction) for translated text in the respective language. Review and evaluation of the synthesized voice from VAANI in the respective language, examining linguistic accuracy, naturalness, prosody, pronunciation, emotion, and timing. Direct collaboration with the VAANI team to define and improve language generation and its evaluation. Co-design of the linguistic platform experience, including workflows, review tools, and tools used by linguists for translations and validations. Creation and maintenance of linguistic resources such as style guidelines, glossaries, assessment criteria, pronunciation guides, and an evolving pronunciation dictionary. Establishing quality standards and deadlines for external providers and internal speakers. Structuring linguistic issues into actionable requirements for technical and product teams. Requirements Excellent linguistic skills, native or near-native proficiency in the respective language, and strong English skills. Formal education or equivalent professional experience in Linguistics, Translation, or Localization. Confident use of AI tools and a desire to develop models and platform tools to ensure the highest quality. Adaptability and initiative in a fast-paced, unstructured environment. Ability to explain linguistic nuances to engineers and derive concrete language requirements from vague product goals. A quality-oriented yet pragmatic approach to work.
