This role is responsible for CAD/PLM implementation and upkeep, CAD and drawing standards and workflows, and system architecture for connection with ERP and other enterprise software.</span></p> <p data-renderer-start-pos="717"><span style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;">The role will support the hiring of designers and drafters for the engineering organization, manage vendor relationships for PLM and CAD software upkeep, handle transmittal and document control alongside the document control team, and model plant systems where we have resource gaps. Drive 3D model-based approaches where they create leverage, such as clash detection, constructability reviews, and as-built capture.</span></p> </li> <li style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;"> <p data-renderer-start-pos="1447"><span style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;"><strong data-renderer-mark="true">PLM Administration:</strong> Govern Fervo’s Siemens Teamcenter PLM environment, including part numbering, BOM structures, revision workflows, and ECR/ECO/ECN processes. Define integrations between PLM and enterprise systems (ERP, procurement, asset management) so design data flows cleanly across the digital thread without manual re-keying.</span></p> </li> <li style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;"> <p data-renderer-start-pos="1783"><span style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;"><strong data-renderer-mark="true">Document Control and Transmittal:</strong> Ensure the EDMS and transmittal workflow is integrated with CAD/PLM end-to-end, including outgoing submittals, vendor drawing review, RFI tracking, and redline incorporation into the as-built record. Define and/or enforce document numbering, revision conventions, and distribution matrices, and review and approve all deliverables before IFC issue or external distribution.</span></p> </li> <li style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;"> <p data-renderer-start-pos="2194"><span style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;"><strong data-renderer-mark="true">Standardization:</strong> Drive standardization across all engineering modules so that every plant benefits from the drawing and data work done on the last one. Find the best process to close the feedback loop between design and field execution, applying redline patterns and constructability issues forward to future plant designs.</span></p> </li> <li style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;"> <p data-renderer-start-pos="2521"><span style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;"><strong data-renderer-mark="true">CAD and Plant Design:</strong> Use Fervo’s CAD tools (Siemens NX, Autodesk, and Revit) or similar with a deep understanding of the CAD process to ensure good data governance and design practices.</span></p> </li> <li style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;"> <p data-renderer-start-pos="2711"><span style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;"><strong data-renderer-mark="true">PLM/PDM and EDMS:</strong> Hold workflow design and PLM administration in Siemens Teamcenter, or a similar system, to the highest standard.
