Our hardware team is in charge of our company’s hardware product strategy & execution. We design, procure, and supply the central hardware components for all our global markets, from solar modules to heat pumps: the team handles everything from product life-cycle management until operational delivery of each product. Our mission is to enable entities across the globe to have the best products at the best price available at the right moment.

Deine Position

We are looking for an enthusiastic and curious Working Student to join our journey. This is a unique opportunity for someone eager to learn the business impact of data driving decision making within a globally operating team in the field of renewable energy hardware products. You will be an integral part of the team, contributing to real projects and learning the practical side of reporting, data engineering and product management, procurement and supply chain operations.
Key responsibilities include:

• Support the Platform: Assist the team in developing and maintaining our core analytics stack, including data ingestion pipelines, transformation jobs, and reporting infrastructure for our hardware and supply chain operations. You take ownership of our data for reporting on inventories, supply chain and logistics.
• Write Code: Contribute to our codebase (in SQL & Python) to automate processes and improve data quality checks
• Get Insights: Create and maintain reports in Looker to get insights on everything related to our products, their life-cycle and the inner logistics of our supply chain management
• Enable Teams: Act as a point of contact for the hardware team, helping them with adhoc data analyses, questions around reporting tools and prioritizing incoming analytics tasks. Build new dashboards to analyse business processes and give recommendations based on the findings
• Improve & Document: Help us improve our reports by identifying areas for enhancement and contributing to our technical documentation to ensure our tools are easy to use
• Learn & Grow: Actively participate in team meetings, learn about our architecture, and absorb as much knowledge as you can from our experienced team

Dein Profil

• Current Student: You are currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s program in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, Business Informatics, or a related field
• Coding Experience: You have hands-on experience writing code from university projects or personal projects
• SQL Fluency: You are comfortable writing SQL queries to select, join, and transform data
• Visualization: You have gained initial experience in data visualization with Looker or comparable tools (Tableau, PowerBI)
• Eagerness to Learn: You have a genuine passion for data and are highly motivated to learn the operational side of product management, procurement & supply chain management
• Team Player: You have excellent communication skills and enjoy collaborating with others to solve complex problems
• Language: Fluency in English is required and German is a strong plus

Strong Plus for:

• Experience with Python
• Experience with Looker or similar tools (PowerBI, Tableau)
