Tasks Optimize and automate software delivery pipelines (CI/CD). Improve reliability, performance and scalability of infrastructure and systems. Design, implement and maintain infrastructure as code (Terraform, Ansible) and Kubernetes environments. Make cost-conscious scaling decisions and optimise infrastructure usage. Continuous improvement across the software lifecycle and close collaboration within the engineering team. Requirements Senior-level experience as a DevOps Engineer or SRE. Proven experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP). Good knowledge of Terraform and Ansible. Experience with Kubernetes, container builds and deployment via CI/CD. Commercial awareness regarding scaling costs vs. utilisation of existing infrastructure. Desirable: Knowledge of Nginx, PHP, MySQL, NoSQL (e.g. Couchbase), RabbitMQ, SOLR and networking technologies (TCP/IP, IPSec, HTTPS, DNS).
