About Osmind Osmind is the leading platform purpose-built for interventional psychiatry practices — the clinicians who deliver TMS, Spravato, ketamine, and other advanced treatments to patients who haven't found relief through traditional care. We power the operations of 1,000+ practices nationally, and we're growing fast. Revenue Cycle Management is one of our fastest-growing service lines. We help practices get paid correctly, on time, for some of the most complex billing scenarios in behavioral health. We're building a modern, technology-forward RCM operation — and we need a supervisor who can lead the team doing the work. The Role The RCM Supervisor is a working, player-coach leader responsible for the day-to-day performance, development, and quality output of our Benefit Verification and Prior Authorization Specialists and our Accounts Receivable Specialists. This is a hands-on role: you'll spend meaningful time in the work itself — running benefit verifications, pushing tough prior authorizations across the finish line, chasing complex accounts receivable, and modeling what great looks like for the team. You'll report to the Director of Revenue Cycle Management and partner closely with our RCM Account Managers, our customers, and cross-functional leadership. You'll coach, mentor, and develop your team through structured one-on-one meetings, live quality assurance sessions, clear standards, and fair, consistent feedback — and you'll stay close enough to the work to jump in when escalations require it, or to represent Osmind on the occasional customer call when your expertise is needed. What You'll Do - Lead your team as a working supervisor. Run regular team huddles, weekly one-on-one meetings, performance conversations, and the coaching rhythm that turns specialists into experts — while rolling up your sleeves and doing the work alongside them when the situation calls for it. - Be an expert in the craft. You are deeply skilled in benefit verification, prior authorization, and accounts receivable follow-up — especially the complex cases. You can personally work through a difficult denial, push through a stuck Spravato prior authorization, or verify benefits for a tricky commercial plan, and you can teach others to do the same. - Set and uphold the bar. Define quality and productivity standards for benefit verification, prior authorization, and accounts receivable processes. Provide clear, timely feedback. Help every team member understand what great looks like and how to achieve it. - Develop the team. Identify strengths, address growth areas, and build individualized development plans. Partner with leadership on hiring, onboarding, and ramping up when the team grows. - Support the reporting process. You won't build the reporting strategy from scratch — that's set with leadership — but you'll play a key role in ensuring customers receive the reports they need on time, understand the data, and get thoughtful answers to any questions. - Partner with customers when needed. Occasionally join calls with RCM Account Managers to answer complex billing questions or support escalated issues. While not your primary responsibility, this is a meaningful part of the role. - Build and improve processes. Write and maintain standard operating procedures, payer-specific playbooks, and appeal templates. Identify bottlenecks and redesign workflows — including through AI tooling. - Lead AI adoption on the team. You and your team will use Claude, Gemini, and other modern AI tools in daily work. You'll bring use cases and help the team adopt them. Who You Are - A deep expert in benefit verification, prior authorization, and accounts receivable follow-up. These are your craft. You've personally worked complex commercial benefit verifications, pushed tough prior authorizations to approval, and chased aged accounts receivable through appeals and payer escalations. You can teach any part of this work to a newer specialist and spot quality issues quickly. - An experienced supervisor of remote teams. You've directly managed remote or offshore specialists — not just coordinated through a vendor. You know how to coach across distance, time zones, and cultural contexts. - A working leader, not a desk leader. You don't need to be told to get involved in the work. You lead from within. - Metrics-fluent. You speak naturally about clean claim rates, days sales outstanding (DSO), denial rates by payer, prior authorization turnaround times, benefit verification accuracy, and accounts receivable aging. You use reports to coach your team and answer questions confidently — in one-on-one meetings, in leadership reviews, and on customer calls. - Candid Health experience is a major plus; strong Excel skills are essential. - AI-forward. You use Claude, Gemini, or other AI tools weekly and can explain specific workflows you've built or adapted. If you're not already working this way, this role isn't a fit. - Energized by a startup pace. You've worked at a growth-stage company where priorities shift, tools change, and you help build the playbook rather than inherit it. - Tech-savvy and curious. You learn new software quickly. You're genuinely excited about technology and change — not just tolerant of it. - A strong communicator. You're clear, professional, and confident — in one-on-one meetings, in leadership updates, and on customer calls. Strong Pluses - Behavioral health or interventional psychiatry billing (TMS, Spravato, ketamine) — the biggest bonus. - Experience with the "Spravato With Me" portal. - Experience ramping a remote or offshore RCM team through a growth phase. Logistics - Location: Fully remote, US-based required (any US time zone). - Compensation: Competitive base. - Visa sponsorship: Not available for this role. - Start date: ASAP. How to Apply Apply through our careers page. In your application, please include a short note (3–5 sentences) responding to one of the following — whichever fits better: - One way you've used AI (Claude, Gemini, or another tool) in your RCM work — what the problem was, what you did, and what changed. - One example of thriving in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment — a situation where you adapted quickly, figured things out without a playbook, or led your team through change. We read these carefully. They help us understand how you communicate, think, and show up.
