Job Description As we are growing at Agilent, we are looking for an engaged Animal Keeper for our farm in South Zealand. The farm primarily consists of rabbits as well as a smaller population of goats. The rabbits help Agilent produce antibodies, which constitute an important part of our products and which are, among other things, used in the fight against cancer. Your tasks: Daily feeding and care of the animals. Cleaning and maintenance of barns and equipment. In this connection, there will be a fair amount of heavy lifting. Production of antibodies, including blood sampling and immunization. Breeding work to a lesser extent. The weekly working time is 37 hours: 8 hours Monday to Thursday (7:00–15:30) and 5 hours Friday (7:00–12:00). Together with your colleagues you will participate in a rota for weekends and public holidays. Weekend and holiday shifts are distributed equally among employees and the interval between each weekend shift is 8–12 weeks. Time spent on weekends and public holidays is in addition to the weekly working hours and is compensated in accordance with the applicable local agreement. The employment is covered by Industrien Overenskomst. The job requires that you have completed an education as an animal keeper, farmer (livestock), veterinary nurse, or have other relevant professional experience with animals. Note: it is not possible to keep rabbits or other rodents at home, as the job requires a 72-hour quarantine to Agilent's animal facilities. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
