Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services (campaigns, creator tools, conversion tracking). Work within a polyglot stack (primarily Python/Django and Ruby/Rails) and participate in the migration from Heroku to Render. Integrate and collaborate with product, design, and frontend teams, delivering customer features end-to-end. Work with additional services (Flask for conversion tracking, Node/TypeScript, Docker, Postgres, Redis). Leverage modern AI development tools (e.g., Cursor) to accelerate workflows and enable rapid iteration. Requirements Production experience with Python/Django or Ruby on Rails (strong expertise in at least one framework). Fundamental knowledge in OOP, relational databases (Postgres), REST APIs, background jobs, and caching (Redis). Experience with Docker and container-based development/production environments. Ability to quickly learn new frameworks/languages (e.g., Flask, Node/TypeScript). Experience in building scalable, high-performance, and secure backend systems and effective collaboration in remote environments.
