Underwriter Trade Credit (m/f/d)

For the position of Underwriter Trade Credit (m/f/d), we are looking for a new colleague (m/f/d) to join our team at the Frankfurt am Main location as soon as possible. What you can expect: - Participation in the development and management of a Trade Credit portfolio, mainly in the DACH region - Underwriting of national and international risks in the Trade Credit Multinational & Strategic Accounts sector - Support in implementing distribution strategies - Management of brokers and other intermediaries, including visits and presentations - Collaboration on drafting policy wordings and portfolio development reporting - Coordination with the Credit Risk and Claims departments - Focus on DACH region acquisition and support in partnership with the distribution team and sales partners - Development of renewal strategies, including negotiations - Review of policy wordings - Preparation of reports on portfolio development - Coordination of international programs with other stakeholders within AIG What you bring: - Completed studies in law, economics, or comparable fields of study (Master’s degree preferred) - At least some experience in the trade credit insurance, working capital, or receivables finance sector - Ideally some experience in developing policy conditions, concepts, and wordings - Experience and confidence in negotiations with corporate clients and financial institutions - Strong communication skills, precise and clear expression in German and English - Decisiveness, team spirit, quick comprehension, and good self-organization - Initiative, commitment, resilience, flexibility - Willingness to provide sales support and undertake business travel (focus on DACH region) - Solid PC skills, particularly in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint Why we’re the best choice: We offer you diverse tasks in a digital and international environment with flexible working hours.
