The Lumina AI and Data team is at the forefront of creating the next generation platform that empowers all teams at RBC to build innovative AI solutions. Our goal is to empower our customers to create transformative AI and ML solutions off data that they securely store in our compliant data platform, to create new and innovative experiences for their customers – all while helping to accelerate RBC’s AI digital transformation.
As a Senior Director of Product Management, you’ll get a chance to build and lead RBC’s flagship AI product RBC Assist and partner with enterprise teams to use and continuously improve our services. You will be responsible for defining and delivering products that solve high-impact business problems and driving the strategic product roadmaps for your portfolio with the support of the engineering, advisory and research teams. You will lead a team of well-established Product Managers who will be responsible for different areas of the product. You will be responsible for bringing those areas together in a cohesive product strategy.
Your responsibilities will include:
Product Development:
- Help the team define the ‘what’ and ‘why’ the platform should build, and what business and user problems they will solve;
- Work closely with customers and key stakeholders to derive insights to inform product strategy and planning;
- Develop product collateral and materials including product site, product roadmap, and product brochures
Product Strategy:
- Work closely with teams to own and execute the product vision and roadmap for your areas of the platform
- Define and track product OKRs and KPIs, and drive the team to achieve them
Product Growth:
- Drive growth and consumption of the platform through the product to achieve our overall product KPIs
- Increase adoption and retention of the platform by understanding product consumption and customer needs
- Drive GTM (go to market) excitement and awareness of our platform across all enterprise teams at RBC
- Host tech talks, webinars, lunch and learns and product showcase events to drive visibility of our platform
- Build and showcase product POCs and demos with engineering
Stakeholder management:
- Act as the glue across disciplines and between organizations to ensure Lumina’s product vision, strategy, roadmap and progress is clear and transparent across all levels of the organization
- Communicate product strategy and updates to senior leadership within Lumina and across the enterprise
- Synthesize stakeholder and user feedback on product features
You're our ideal candidate if you have:
At least 2-3+ years of product management experience in a top-tier technology company, with a focus on AI or machine learning products;
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field. Master’s or MBA is a plus;
Strong product leadership skills and the ability to own a portfolio of products end-to-end independently. You have a track record of successful product deliveries;
Experience presenting and explaining product and technology topics in-depth to executive and technical audiences;
Strong communicator (written, verbal) and collaborator, and can influence both technical and business stakeholders;
Thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment;
Track record of success in planning and delivering B2B commercial SaaS or enterprise technology solutions from pitch and envisioning to pilot and adoption;
Strong foundation in finance and in global markets;
Well versed with the core areas of machine learning and have experience with machine learning platforms and deploying models at scale;
Experience building developer platform products;
Experience working on UX and front-end development.
