Azure architecture. No tickets. If you want to design Azure platforms instead of just deploying resources, we should talk! What we're looking for You don't think of the cloud in individual services, but in platforms, governance and architectural principles. Landing Zones, network topologies, identity models and security baselines are not buzzword bingo for you, but the foundation of cleanly built cloud platforms. To strengthen our Cloud Operations and Security unit we are looking for an experienced Azure Architect who can design, structure and further develop Azure environments from the ground up. Germany-wide, as soon as possible. Part-time or full-time welcome. What you will do As a Senior Azure Architect you design scalable and secure cloud architectures based on Microsoft Azure. You work on the platform structure of the cloud, not just individual resources. You analyze existing IT landscapes, develop target architectures and support customers in strategic cloud decisions. Design of Azure Landing Zones and platform architectures Architecture of subscription, management group and governance structures Design of enterprise Azure networking (e.g. hub-spoke, private endpoints, hybrid connectivity) Architecture of identity and security concepts Consulting on cloud governance, compliance and platform standards Development of reference architectures and architecture guidelines Conducting architecture workshops and technical assessments An increasing part of many projects is also cloud sovereignty. This includes, among other things: Architectures that take data residency and regulatory requirements into account Implementation of security and governance models for regulated environments Consulting on concepts around Microsoft Cloud for Sovereignty Our cloud unit works closely together from various locations. Part of our team is based in Riga, which is why we are deliberately international. Team collaboration therefore often takes place in English. For many of our client projects German language skills remain important; at the same time our internal team communication is not exclusively in German. What you bring You bring Azure platform experience and can develop cloud architectures in a structured way. Ideally you have experience with: Azure Landing Zones / Cloud Adoption Framework Azure Networking Architecture Identity & Access Architecture Governance and security design in Azure Azure Assessments & Migrations Azure FinOps Frameworks Enterprise cloud platforms Additionally: Several years of experience with Azure architecture Experience in technical consulting and making architecture decisions Ability to explain complex technical relationships clearly Microsoft Azure architecture certifications (e.g. Azure Solutions Architect Expert) Important: This role focuses on Azure cloud architecture. No emphasis on Microsoft 365.
