Technical Operator
Job Description As a Technical Operator, you will be at the core of airport operations. You ensure that kerosene – the lifeblood of aviation – is received, stored, controlled, and distributed safely, efficiently, and accurately. This role combines practical hands-on work with administrative follow-up and coordination. You play a key role in ensuring the safe functioning of installations and adherence to procedures and safety standards. What will you do? - Supervise and carry out kerosene pumping operations and process the associated administration. - Perform quality checks (including density measurements, visual inspections, millipore tests). - Inspect, maintain, and perform (small) repairs on fuel installations and supporting systems. - Coordinate colleagues during operations and respond effectively to incidents. - Contribute to proper communication and handover between shifts. - Guide external personnel and participate in mandatory training sessions. - Correctly apply emergency procedures when necessary. Your Profile - Technical background in at least one domain: industrial electricity, (electro) mechanics, or automotive mechanics. - Experience in the petroleum sector? A big plus! - Language skills: good knowledge of the second national language, basic knowledge of English. - Proficient with digital tools (Microsoft Office). You are: - Punctual and detail-oriented. - A true team player with a strong sense of responsibility. - Flexible with work hours (three-shift system, weekend and holiday work). - Willing to undertake training and continually expand your knowledge. - Stress-resistant and capable of implementing procedures effectively in practice. We offer you: Work Environment - Work schedule: three-shift system (morning, afternoon, night). - Weekend work: 1 in 2 weekends. - Holiday work: 1 in 2 holidays.
