Job description — About the role: In this role you are the point of contact for technical questions and operational coordination. You ensure that all processes — from access control to planning and inventory management — run smoothly. You lead and support your colleagues while maintaining oversight of the administration and always keep the sector's legal requirements in mind. What will you do? Lead, coach and train a team of 14 technical operators & dispatchers. Plan and monitor operational activities and shift changes. Coordinate major projects together with the Engineering department. Maintain contacts with external parties (BAC, Skeyes, external contractors). Prepare and follow up work permits and technical datasheets. Manage stock, orders and quotes so that we meet all our contractual obligations with BAC. Handle administrative follow-up and manage communication regarding technical files. You report directly to the Technical Manager. What does the ideal candidate look like? A bridge-builder who pursues punctuality, accuracy & a good team atmosphere and who will, over time, ensure self-managing teams. Flexible in working hours (due to a three-shift system, weekend and public holiday work for the technical operators). Willing to attend trainings and continuously expand your knowledge in order to be able to switch quickly and in a timely manner in this role. Which skills are we looking for? Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a technical field (during the last 5 years of your career). At least several years of experience in a coordinating or managerial role. Strong technical knowledge, or a strong affinity with technology combined with a practical, hands-on mentality. Communicative, structured and stress-resistant. Language skills: fluent Dutch, with good knowledge of English and French. Experience with various safety regulations, permits and legislation is a plus.
