More information: http://mrcglobal.com Responsibilities: Preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports, including SEC-compliant reports (10-K, 10-Q, 8-K). Participation in consolidation and close processes for domestic and international legal entities. Preparation of annual financial statements, footnotes, MD&A and supporting schedules. Preparation of materials for the executive team and Board Committees. Support for internal controls over financial reporting. Review and analysis of GAAP and SEC reporting requirements. Preparation of internal management reports. Perform account reconciliations and prepare journal entries. Research to determine the correct accounting treatment for complex transactions. Build and maintain relationships with management, branches, vendors and customers; written and telephone communication. Report hazards, injuries or illnesses in the workplace and comply with safety requirements. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Accounting. 3–5 years of progressive accounting/finance experience. CPA qualification preferred. Experience in public companies, ideally in an SEC-focused environment. Strong knowledge of GAAP and strong analytical skills. Familiarity with MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint; experience with ERP/consolidation systems (e.g., Oracle, Hyperion Financial Management, EPM, Active Disclosure) preferred. Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines and manage multiple tasks in a dynamic environment. High integrity and excellent written and verbal communication skills (English).
