Key responsibilities include: - Performing retention calls, processing applications, renewals, and amendments, resolving customer problems, and selling membership and financial products (credit cards) - Providing price quotes on all insurance products, factoring in applicable rules (underwriting, business, etc.) and discounts to complete the sale - Taking insurance payments (initial, installment, lapse, or reinstatement) - Responding to customers’ insurance inquiries and explaining product features and Auto Club Group service advantages to potential customers to promote and sell various insurance, membership, and financial products - Referring to agents when appropriate - Recognizing and promoting cross-sale opportunities while servicing changes to existing member policies and processing customer policies, endorsements, and status and coverage changes according to state rules and corporate policies and procedures - Providing customer assistance through sales processing activities and supporting management and agents when applicable - Conducting outbound promotional and retention call activities as requested and promoting Auto Club Group products and services following established guidelines - Participating in team activities to promote customer satisfaction and consistent service - Receiving and resolving member/customer complaints and seeking assistance from management when necessary - Participating in events to generate insurance revenue, improve member awareness of products, and support local community activities - Fulfilling, maintaining, and servicing insurance policies - Responding to inquiries regarding insurance availability, eligibility, and coverage - Preparing insurance proposals, policy changes, transfers, and billing clarifications - Contacting members or insureds regarding renewal of delinquent memberships, late premium payments, and soliciting reinstatements in case of policy cancellations - Verifying new business applications - Referring members/insureds to other lines of business (e.g., Travel and Life) - Processing insurance and membership payments - Updating electronic member information - Maintaining filing systems and providing general Agency support HOW WE REWARD OUR EMPLOYEES - Starting hourly wage of $23.00 - $25.50 per hour, based on experience WE ARE LOOKING FOR CANDIDATES WHO Required Qualifications: - A Current Property & Casualty Insurance license - Must qualify, obtain, and maintain all applicable state licenses and appointments required for selling and/or servicing Auto Club Group Membership products - Successful completion of Customer Service, Insurance, and Membership training within 6 months of hire Education: - High School Diploma or equivalent Work Experience: - Providing high levels of customer-focused service - Servicing insurance policies and processing applications, renewals, and amendments - Responding to billing and coverage questions - Processing monetary transactions and taking payments - Promoting the sales of insurance products and services using established guidelines - Presenting complex information clearly and concisely Knowledge and Skills: - Analyzing member/potential customer insurance needs and determining appropriate coverage levels - Preparing appropriate rate quotations - Organizing, planning, and promoting sales of ACG insurance and membership products/services - Performing outbound service calls - Maintaining accurate records - Understanding insurance terminology, general regulations, underwriting procedures, and sales compliance guidelines - Using insurance systems and/or membership systems (e.g., PPS, POS, IMS, IPM) - Working effectively in a team environment - Working independently with minimal supervision - Exceeding member expectations relating to professionalism, efficient and effective customer service, and maintaining the office environment - Being proficient in Microsoft Office products - Communicating clearly and concisely, reading, and comprehending work guidelines - Performing mathematical calculations for accurate monetary transactions - Working under pressure in a fast-paced customer service environment - Successfully completing training relative to all Auto Club Group products and services Work Environment: - Working in a temperature-controlled office environment - Willingness and ability to work irregular hours, including weekends, holidays, and community events Who We Are: Become a part of something bigger.
