Director of Marketing
Your responsibilities As Director of Marketing at Mercanis you are the strategic mind behind our growth story toward 30M ARR. You develop and execute a scalable marketing playbook that consolidates our positioning in the Enterprise and Mid-Market segments. In doing so, you sharpen our USPs, expand Analyst Relations (Gartner/G2) and drive internationalization into markets such as the UK and France. As an empathetic Player-Coach you lead a growing team and ensure that marketing becomes a primary driver of our sales pipeline. Your work combines creative storytelling with data-driven scaling and will significantly shape the Mercanis brand on its path to market leadership. Your scope of responsibilities Develop and own the end-to-end Go-To-Market strategy (GTM) for DACH as well as the expansion into the UK and French markets Establish Mercanis as a thought leader through targeted Product Marketing, clear positioning and the development and expansion of Analyst Relations (Gartner, G2) Drive the shift from an outbound focus to a highly efficient inbound engine that contributes measurably to Net New ARR Lead and scale the marketing team (currently 6 people) and act as a mentor and Player-Coach who combines strategy with pragmatic execution Take creative lead for brand and field marketing initiatives to massively increase brand awareness in the target group (CFOs/Procurement) Work closely with the VP Sales and VP Engineering to ensure a seamless customer journey and first-class sales enablement Leverage automation and modern marketing tech stacks to optimize processes and make data-based decisions Your profile You bring solid experience in B2B SaaS marketing — ideally you have previously supported a company up to 20M+ ARR You have a proven track record in scaling marketing teams and feel comfortable in a dynamic scale-up environment You have a deep understanding of enterprise marketing cycles and know how to make complex products attractive for different ICPs You combine strategic thinking with a strong hands-on mentality and are not afraid to support operationally You have successfully opened international markets (ideally the UK or France) and understand local nuances You have excellent communication skills and speak fluent German and English Experience in Analyst Relations (Gartner Magic Quadrant etc.) is a strong plus You are based in Berlin (or willing to work in a hybrid model) and are excited about an office-first culture in the heart of the city Why us?
