HSE Project Officer (ICPE)

Based in Genas (69), or on our Montville site (76), join our teams for a 6-month internship starting January 2026 as an ICPE Project Officer within the Brenntag Group Central HSE department. Integrated into the Central HSE Department, you will be responsible for drafting technical dossiers - Hazard Studies and notifications required for our French chemical distribution sites classified as ICPE, most of which are SEVESO upper-tier. In this role, your main responsibilities will be: • You will be responsible for consolidating and re-examining the ICPE hazard study for the Montville site. • You will go on site (around 2 to 3 days approximately once a month, covered by the company) to analyze operations or meet the managers of new projects, in order to formalize notifications to our regulatory authorities. • Depending on your interests and technical aptitudes, you may also carry out specific studies or propose improvement actions related to safety and industrial risks. More than your experience, it is your personality and commitment that count. Profile: • You are pursuing a Bac+4/5 in industrial processes or industrial risks, or in chemistry. • You are organized, autonomous, proactive, and able to perform reporting. • You have writing/drafting skills. • You are comfortable with IT tools, with particular proficiency in Pack Office.
