Job Purpose Responsible for achieving the budget in the assigned area by underwriting Commercial Property risks for the Corporate Segment within given authority or referring to superiors and/or designated underwriters, promoting core products, and securing profitability. Responsible for achieving the assigned area’s budget through underwriting corporate property insurance in the Corporate Segment (large corporations and small-to-medium enterprises) under delegated authority or by consulting superiors or designated underwriters, while ensuring the promotion of core products and profitability. Job Responsibilities Responsible for achieving the budget and ensuring profitability in the assigned area by underwriting property lines within underwriting authority or referring cases beyond authority to superiors or designated underwriters while maintaining profitability. Support the Corporate Section Manager in team management and provide support, guidance, and training to subordinate underwriters in the team. Analyze risks using UW tools, work with risk engineers, modelers, actuaries, and other underwriters, and provide quotations for customers. Develop and implement strategies to maximize the penetration, growth, and profitability of Commercial Property in the assigned area. Communicate and negotiate directly with brokers, agencies, and clients when necessary, working closely with the distribution team. Collaborate with the Corporate Segment Team to align with segment strategies. Work with Distribution, Marketing, Multinational, Claims & Operations, Technology, Training, and Sales Management to support and/or promote Commercial Property insurance strategies. Collaborate closely with Claims and Actuaries to analyze and predict claim trends and provide input on policy coverage and interpretation. Work with Operations, Systems, and Claims to improve operational efficiency in property underwriting and maximize resources and shared services. Engage and cooperate with the Risk Engineering function. Conduct promotional activities for property in the assigned area by disseminating best practices, hot-selling tips, and underwriting-related information, including preparing materials. Collect market and competitor information for strategic use.
