There is currently no well-established design role—the person in this position will have a lasting influence on the product's appearance, functionality, and usability. In this role, you will work directly with the VP Product, collaborate closely with engineering and customers, and conduct user research sessions from the start. Location: Office in San Francisco (near Montgomery), hybrid work setup with three days in-office per week. Responsibilities End-to-end design for key product initiatives: from user research and concept to delivery Designing complex multi-user workflows, permissions, and integrations to feel effortless for users Owning the design system and visual language while scaling them within the product Direct contact with customers: leading research, translating insights into product improvements, and closing feedback loops Helping shape the intersection of AI and product design Requirements At least 5 years of experience designing B2B SaaS or workflow products; experience with sales tech, CRM, or enterprise tools is a significant advantage High bar for craftsmanship and usability, consistently delivering excellent user experiences even under time pressure Strength in interaction design, systems thinking, and visual execution; experience with designing and scaling design systems Curiosity and understanding of how AI changes human work; ability to design trustworthy and intuitive AI experiences Low ego, high productivity; open collaboration and willingness to take feedback Benefits Full ownership: no supervising designer and no design committee Direct customer access from day one; very positive user reviews (4.9/5 on G2) Cooperative, low-ego team that works quickly without cutting corners Series A environment with real traction—decisions have visible impact SF office near Montgomery, hybrid work setup (3 days/week)
