Senior Client Implementation Lead (Culture and Operation Transformation)

About Kraken Technologies Kraken Technologies is a company under Octopus Energy Group that provides the Kraken platform globally to energy suppliers. Current clients include EDF, EON Next, Origin, Plenitude, Tokyo Gas, and others. More clients are expected to join over the coming years. What will you do in this position? We are currently progressing a Kraken implementation with a major Japanese client and are expanding the team that will lead the operational transformation and cultural change associated with the platform rollout. The Senior Client Implementation Lead will own the client’s operating model ("how things get done") and the operating environment (the actual culture change programme). You will be broadly responsible for coordinating, building, managing and delivering the culture change programme with the client, working closely with technology teams, product managers and the client team. The Client Implementation Lead will embody how Kraken works: finding problems, designing solutions and delivering them to the client through workshops and training. This role combines technology, processes and people to deliver innovative culture change for our clients. Key roles and responsibilities: Supporting client operational transformation - Lead the design and delivery of the culture change programme as the Senior Client Implementation Lead - Work with the Kraken Transformation Director to guide the client on their transformation journey - Collaborate with Kraken Technologies implementation teams and the client to roll out culture change programmes, including leadership development and coaching - Create plans, timelines and resources for a successful implementation - Manage project progress, escalate issues and remove blockers Providing coaching and workshops - Work with Kraken teams to provide coaching and mentoring to the client - Prepare and deliver workshops for training groups and leadership development - Support operational analysis based on client needs and translate that into team programmes Other - Occasional travel may be required - We seek people who enjoy ambiguity, take initiative and derive satisfaction from direct client engagement - Make the most of a simple, evolving technology platform underpinned by freedom, autonomy and trust - Be willing to support the client beyond your immediate remit when necessary Desired attributes: Curiosity and proactivity - Notice the details and enjoy self-directed learning. Patience - Clients are undergoing significant change. Progress can sometimes feel slow, and you should be able to provide careful, repeated support. Be flexible with regional adjustments and changes. Senior stakeholder management - Proven experience building and managing relationships with senior stakeholders. - Maintain cross-organisational alignment and drive effective communication. Project / programme management - Experience managing and delivering complex projects or programmes. - Focus on delivering outcomes within scope, schedule and budget. Training and coaching - Experience designing and delivering training programmes. - Coaching experience to improve team performance and develop professionals. Language requirements - Native-level Japanese - Business-level English
