Based upon research on trending lifestyles, new materials, markets, and technologies, establish CMF stories required for product design, and deliver emotional values in new perspectives to consumers
Implement CMF concepts with tangible material samples, build contact with local & global manufacturing networking, prototyping is carried out to enable actual development
Participate in the process from product conception to production
Collaborate with cross functional teams, including Industrial Design, Research and Strategy, to translate design concepts into executable CMF specifications

Your profile
Substantial work-experience in a design- and innovation environment, ideally already as a CMF specialist
Knowledge in material trends and forecast innovative material used in a variety of Hard and Soft Goods applications across multiple industries including interior design, home decor, and consumer electronics.
Knowledge in materials and manufacturing processes
Work with material vendors to develop both advanced material samples and standards for production
Work alongside with engineers, suppliers and manufacturers to develop concepts and prototypes into material technologies suitable for mass manufacturing
Highly independent and self-motivated, strong work-ethic and high reliability in remote/on-site team settings
